Basketball Recap: Elverado/Zeigler-Royalton vs. Century Centurions
Elverado/Zeigler-Royalton was the 61-35 winner over Century when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Elverado/Zeigler-Royalton were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 46-45 to the Century Centurions.

Elverado/Zeigler-Royalton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashlyn Stayton, who posted eight points and 16 rebounds. Stayton has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more boards the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Cara Tripp-Reams, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 15 points and eight rebounds.
