RIPON, Calif. - the Indians had a big 21-point first quarter on Saturday, sealing a 41-19 victory over
Riverbank (Calif.).
Ripon scored on a touchdown run by
Michael Ysit, a
Kyle Wengel touchdown pass to
Bradley Clark and a
Anthony Baciocco touchdown run in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Ysit in the first quarter, the Indians led 34-7 at the half.
With the win Ripon extended its winning streak to nine games. The Indians defeated the Yellowjackets 42-7 last week.
Baciocco stood out for Ripon in the win. The senior halfback ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored 12 touchdowns on the season.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 43-7 win for the Indians.
Ripon (9-0) goes up against Orestimba in a Trans Valley game matchup next week, while Riverbank (2-6) locks horns with Hughson also in a Trans Valley game.
