Baseball Recap: Skaneateles Comes Up Short

Skaneateles couldn't beat Union Springs on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Lakers lost 18-5 to the Wolves. The Lakers have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Cody Crane was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Declan Pfau, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Skaneateles' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Union Springs, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 14-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skaneateles will face off against Homer at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Union Springs, they will head out to face off against Moravia at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
