Softball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Crawford Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in March.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Crawford, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, Hamilton will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Bruceville-Eddy at 6:00 p.m. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.95 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. Crawford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
