Baseball Recap: Hopi Takes a Loss

Hopi lost against St. Johns back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bruins came up short against the Redskins, falling 13-1. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hopi's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for St. Johns, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Hopi will square off against Ganado at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.15 runs per game on average), something the Bruins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for St. Johns, they will take on Chinle at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Redskins surely won't give up without a fight.
