Savannah proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Maryville Spoofhounds, sneaking past 5-4. The win was familiar territory for the Savages, who have now won four contests in a row.

Savannah's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-11. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Maryville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Savannah nor Maryville have any future games scheduled.
