Basketball Recap: Henry-Senachwine Comes Up Short

After flying high against ROWVA/Williamsfield on Monday, Henry-Senachwine came back down to earth. The Mallards fell 45-41 to the Galva Wildcats on Tuesday. The Mallards lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 73-39 score last time.

Henry-Senachwine's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Galva, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Henry-Senachwine will take on Biggsville West Central in a tournament on Saturday. As for Galva, they will be taking part in a tournament against ROWVA/Williamsfield at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
