Gillett won the last time they faced Wausaukee and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 win over the Rangers. The team accrued 30 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

The win got Gillett back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gillett will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Niagara at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wausaukee, they will square off against Gresham Community at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
