Soccer Game Preview: Pasco vs. Wiregrass Ranch

Pasco is 0-9-1 against Wiregrass Ranch since December of 2014 but things could change on Monday. The Pasco Pirates will host the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pasco comes in on four and Wiregrass Ranch on five.

Pasco's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Zephyrhills 8-0. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Wiregrass Ranch beat Wesley Chapel 2-0 on Friday. Give the Bulls' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Pasco is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those seven games. As for Wiregrass Ranch, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

Pasco might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Wiregrass Ranch in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Can Pasco avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
