Volleyball Recap: Branson Wins Going Away Against Bolivar

Branson won the last time they faced Bolivar and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates put the hurt on the Liberators with a sharp 3-0 win. The Pirates not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Branson took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10, 25-14.

Emma Skoglund paced Branson's offense, picking up nine kills. Skoglund got some help from Erinn Swofford and her 31 assists. Sarah Cox controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Branson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11-6 record this season. As for Bolivar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13-3.

Coming up, Branson will host Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bolivar, they will venture away from home to face off against Logan-Rogersville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
