Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crocker). They put the hurt on the Plato Eagles with a sharp 18-8 win on Monday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Crocker pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Plato, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Crocker will head out to face off against Steelville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plato, they will square off against Dora at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
