Marshall County proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by nine) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Columbia Academy Bulldogs. The win was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

They hit Columbia Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mika Wilken (2), Elias Mejia, Eder Garcia, and Imar Pineda.

Marshall County's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Columbia Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Marshall County knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Fayetteville likes a good challenge. As for Columbia Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against University School of Nashville on the 18th.
