Volleyball Game Preview: Kelvyn Park Panthers vs. Clemente Wildcats

The Kelvyn Park Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Clemente Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Kelvyn Park is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Intrinsic just ended the team's 12-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Kelvyn Park sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 20-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Clemente came up short against Collins on Wednesday and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16.

Clemente's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Kelvyn Park, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 12-2-2.

Kelvyn Park couldn't quite get it done against Clemente in their previous meeting back in April of 2022 as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
