Reading Memorial won the last time they faced Stoneham and things went their way on Sunday too. The Rockets came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 6-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

Ethan LeBovidge spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jack Chapin was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Reading Memorial's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Stoneham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Reading Memorial will take on Arlington at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stoneham, they have already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against Medford on the 12th.
