There's no place like home for Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Live Oak Eagles on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Eagles on Thursday, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Tanner Forbes looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Andrew Clapinski was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run. Another player making a difference was Davis Emonet, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Live Oak, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.

Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against Live Oak: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
