Basketball Recap: Pilot Point Takes a Loss

After soaring to 57 points the game before, Pilot Point was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 58-18 loss at the hands of the Paradise Panthers. The Bearcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Pilot Point's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Paradise, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pilot Point Bearcats take on the Callisburg Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pilot Point is facing Callisburg at the right time seeing as Callisburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Paradise, they will challenge Boyd at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyd is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season.
