Basketball Recap: Peshtigo Wins Going Away Against Two Rivers

Peshtigo's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They took down the Two Rivers Purple Raiders 57-39. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their 18-point performance the matchup before.

The victory got Peshtigo back to even at 11-11. As for Two Rivers, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Peshtigo and Two Rivers could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Peshtigo will take on Sevastopol at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 150 places (261 vs. 111). Peshtigo is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Meanwhile, Two Rivers (ranked 337th) will meet Kiel (ranked 99th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
