Football Recap: Centennial Knights vs. Kell Longhorns
Centennial lost against Kell back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Centennial Knights fell 61-49 to the Kell Longhorns. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (39), the Knights still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Centennial still got an impressive performance from Caleb Barbas, who rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown. With that strong performance, Barbas is now averaging an impressive 105.1 rushing yards per game. Jake Hickox was another key player, picking up 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
