Volleyball Recap: Minneapolis South Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Minneapolis South fell just short of Fridley by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Minneapolis South of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Minneapolis South and nudges their season record down to 5-16. As for Fridley, their win ended a five-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.

Minneapolis South has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Irondale on the 27th. As for Fridley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Richfield on the 27th.
