Soccer Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lexington managed to keep up with Mt. Vernon until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Minutemen came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 4-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Lexington's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lexington now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mt. Vernon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lexington will head out to face off against West Holmes at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Lexington's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mt. Vernon, they are taking a road trip to challenge Zanesville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Zanesville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mt. Vernon surely won't give up without a fight.
