            Basketball Recap: Commerce Tigers vs. Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines        
        
		
        
        
             Commerce couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took  a  57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines on Monday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in February.
 When it comes to explaining why Commerce lost, don't look at  Arianna Patman. Despite the final result, she  went 7 for 17 en route to 20 points plus five  rebounds and two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Vi 'Tory Williams, who  scored 12 points in addition to seven  rebounds.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Commerce will host Lincoln County  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they will look to take advantage of their home-court for the first time this season as they take on Georgia Military College  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
