Soccer Game Preview: Victor Valley vs. Granite Hills

Victor Valley is 1-8-1 against Granite Hills since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Victor Valley Jackrabbits will be playing at home against the Granite Hills Cougars at 4:30 p.m.

Victor Valley fell victim to Barstow and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Aztecs by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Jackrabbits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 831st, while the Aztecs are ranked 412th).

Meanwhile, Granite Hills hasn't lost a match since December 7, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They never let Adelanto onto the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Granite Hills' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those six matches. As for Victor Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9-3.
