Soccer Recap: Bostonia Global Takes a Loss

After flying high against River Valley last Tuesday, Bostonia Global came back down to earth. The Bostonia Global Lobos lost 6-1 to the Ocean View Christian Patriots on Thursday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 back in January.

Their goal came courtesy of Edwin Gaytan, who's now up to two this season.

Bostonia Global's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ocean View Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Bostonia Global will be playing in front of their home fans against Cristo Rey at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Bostonia Global is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Ocean View Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge King-Chavez Community at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
