Volleyball Recap: West Aurora Takes a Loss

West Aurora was the 2-1 winner over Lake Park when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Blackhawks fell 2-0 to the Lancers on Friday. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luke Bonacci was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had 11 digs and four assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in May of 2024.

West Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Lake Park, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Coincidentally, West Aurora and Lake Park will both be playing Hinsdale Central the next time they take the court. The Lancers will head out to face the Red Devils at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Blackhawks will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
