Volleyball Game Preview: San Jose Bulldogs vs. Del Mar Dons + How To Watch

The San Jose Bulldogs will head out to take on the Del Mar Dons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

San Jose was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Oak Grove 3-2.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was San Jose who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 17-25, 27-25, 16-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Del Mar got the win against Overfelt on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The Dons haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Del Mar was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-15.

San Jose's record is now 16-8. As for Del Mar, their record now sits at 14-11.

San Jose was able to grind out a solid victory over Del Mar in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 2-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Dons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
