Basketball Recap: Beaverhead County Extends Winning Streak to 11

Beaverhead County won the last time they faced Bigfork and things went their way on Friday too. The Beaverhead County Beavers walked away with a 57-49 victory over the Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries. The Beavers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Beaverhead County's record is now 19-1. As for Bigfork, with the loss, they broke their 16-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-3.

Coming up, Beaverhead County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Frenchtown at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Frenchtown knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Beaverhead County likes a good challenge. As for Bigfork, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Browning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
