They had to suffer through a 80-26 loss at the hands of the Hapeville Charter Hornets. Utopian Academy for the Arts was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-10.

When it comes to explaining why Utopian Academy for the Arts lost, don't look at Quevion Johnson. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points and four steals.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hapeville Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christopher Person, who made all 8 shots he took for 17 points. The dominant performance gave Person a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kody Brown, who had 12 points and five steals.

Utopian Academy for the Arts' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Hapeville Charter, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Utopian Academy for the Arts wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-48 defeat against Arlington Christian on the 16th. As for Hapeville Charter, they will welcome Rockdale County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockdale County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Hapeville Charter likes a good challenge.
