Softball Recap: Simi Valley Pioneers vs. Moorpark Musketeers
Simi Valley dropped their record down to 16-8-1 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Moorpark Musketeers by a score of 5-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Musketeers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 back in April.

Parker Ong spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
