Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Academy Takes a Loss

Oak Hill Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 70-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smithville Seminoles. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 56-50 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oak Hill Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Smithville, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hill Academy will host Sebastopol at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th. As for Smithville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Blue Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
