Soccer Game Preview: New Fairfield vs. Nonnewaug

The New Fairfield Rebels will challenge the Nonnewaug Chiefs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nonnewaug took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on New Fairfield, who comes in off a win.

New Fairfield's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Kolbe-Cathedral.

Meanwhile, Nonnewaug didn't have quite enough to beat Northwestern Regional on Tuesday and fell 2-1. Nonnewaug have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Nonnewaug's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 3-3-1. As for New Fairfield, their win bumped their record up to 5-8-2.
