On Friday Loris's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 23-22 W against the Dillon Wildcats. The 23-point effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Loris didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Damarea Thurmond and Jacobien Lewis. Loris received some extra help from Khalil Sherman, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Loris' record is now 6-0. As for Dillon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Loris will be playing at home against Waccamaw at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups. As for Dillon, they will face off against Aynor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Blue Jackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.83 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
