Volleyball Recap: Dover Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Dover had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Rondout Valley on Wednesday. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ganders.

Lola Green paced Dover's offense, picking up five kills. Green got some help from Emily Arnold and her 12 assists.

Dover has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Rondout Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Rondout Valley will be playing at home against Our Lady of Lourdes at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Dover will be paying especially close attention to the Ganders' match: after the Ganders face off against the Warriors, they'll take on Dover again at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
