Baseball Recap: Hampton Roads Academy Navigators vs. Christchurch School Seahorses
Hampton Roads Academy was the 9-0 winner over Christchurch School when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Navigators lost 13-7 to the Seahorses on Wednesday.
George Kokolis was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
In other batting news, Graham Hutchens was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Aiden Parks also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
