North Union entered their tilt with Northwestern on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 62-31 victory over the Northwestern Warriors. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Warriors are ranked 704th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Peyton Roseberry and Lilly Bushey certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Roseberry posted seven points and four blocks, while Bushey had ten points and six rebounds. Roseberry has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Azzy Hammer, who put up five points.

North Union pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Northwestern, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

North Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-49 victory against Olentangy Berlin on the 13th. As for Northwestern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-19 loss against Urbana on the 15th.
