After losing to Riley County the last time they met, Royal Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falcons on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Falcons on their court since September 17, 2024.

While Royal Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24.

Royal Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-13-1. As for Riley County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-8.

Coincidentally, Royal Valley and Riley County will both be playing Silver Lake the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
