Brayden Schwitz put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Friday's game, in which he improved his previous run total for three consecutive games.
