Basketball Game Preview: Sprague Olympians vs. Clackamas Cavaliers

The Sprague Olympians will square off against the Clackamas Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sprague has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Sprague didn't have too much trouble with South Eugene as they won 66-47.

While Clackamas didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They secured a 70-66 W over Parkrose on Friday. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Broncos are ranked 159th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sprague pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points per game. As for Clackamas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
