Hayden took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 55-6 win over the Superior Panthers. The Lobos are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight dating back to last season.

Kino Lorona had a dynamite game, rushing for 129 yards and three TDs. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.

Hayden's run defense was locked in: Superior could only muster three yards per carry. The team can thank Cj Lacey for the heroic effort on defense: he. That's the most yards per carry they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Hayden didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Alejandro Waddell, Tyler Garner, and Ryan Garner picked up one apiece.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hayden is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Salome at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Superior, they will take on Mayer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
