Cook was dealt an 83-40 loss at the hands of Crisp County. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-17.

Meanwhile, Tattnall County waltzed into their match on Saturday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 45-42. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 337th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tattnall County pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Cook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
