Baseball Recap: Big Lake Takes a Loss

Big Lake fell victim to Rockford and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to the Rockets. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Hornets, who until this game were averaging 3.93 runs allowed.

Big Lake's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Rockford, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Big Lake will head out to face off against Maple Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rockford, they will square off against Perham at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
