Basketball Game Preview: Westerville Central Warhawks vs. Linsly Cadets

Having just played yesterday, the Westerville Central Warhawks will get right back to it and host the Linsly Cadets at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Westerville Central came up short against New Albany and fell 55-45. The matchup marked the Warhawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Linsly posted their biggest win since February 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 80-48 victory over Weir. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Red Riders are ranked 587th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Westerville Central dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Linsly, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
