Basketball Recap: South Comes Up Short

South saw some tournament action on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 77-41 loss at the hands of the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners.

Jack Brandt had another great game (as he tends to do), going 13-for-22 en route to 32 points and six steals for Prospect Ridge Academy. That's the most steals Brandt has posted since back in December of 2024. Owen Miller also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

South's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

South has already played their next matchup (against Stargate School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 59-36 win against Pine Bluffs on the 19th.
