Basketball Recap: Academy for Classical Education Finds Playoff Glory Versus Bleckley County

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Academy for Classical Education had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 57-47 victory over the Bleckley County Royals. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 54-39 victory last Friday.

Academy for Classical Education found their leader in freshman Khloie Stanley, who posted 22 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stanley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sara Rhett Farmer, who had ten points and three steals.

Academy for Classical Education's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4. As for Bleckley County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.

Academy for Classical Education didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-35 loss against Fannin County on the 21st. Bleckley County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
