Volleyball Game Preview: Sanger Apaches vs. Rancho San Juan Trailblazers

The Sanger Apaches will square off against the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Thursday, Sanger got the win against Sanger West by a conclusive 3-0.

While Sanger won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22, 25-16.

Rancho San Juan won the last time they faced Soledad, and Devin Francisco did his part to make sure it happened again. Rancho San Juan came out on top against Soledad by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Francisco, who had 72 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 13 or more in each of the last 13 games he's played dating back to last season.

Rancho San Juan got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 33-35, 25-22, 25-19.

The win got Rancho San Juan back to even at 6-6. As for Sanger, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 14-5.
