Recap: Cambridge Christian Lancers vs. Zephyrhills Christian Academy Warriors        
        
		
            
 The Cambridge Christian Lancers suffered their closest  loss yet this season on Thursday. They fell just short of Zephyrhills Christian Academy by a score of  54-52. Cambridge Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Zephyrhills Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in February of 2021.
 Several Lancers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Zay Burton, who  scored 14 points.  Karston Michael Ash was another key contributor,  scoring ten points.
 Zephyrhills Christian Academy got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Xavier Perez out in front who  scored 19 points along with six  rebounds and two  blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Perez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rogers Jones, who  scored 17 points along with eight  rebounds and three  blocks.
 Cambridge Christian now  has a losing record at 7-8. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season.
 Cambridge Christian won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Redeemer Christian at 5:30  p.m.  on January 19th. Redeemer Christian will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Zephyrhills Christian Academy will take on Northside Christian at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
