Softball Recap: Section Comes Up Short

Section was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-3 to the Sipsey Valley Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Friday.

Section's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sipsey Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Section has already played their next contest (against Woodville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sipsey Valley, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-2 loss against Northridge on the 1st.
