Volleyball Recap: Rickover Naval Comes Up Short

The Rickover Naval Seadragons came up short against the Hancock Eagles on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

Rickover Naval was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-8.

Rickover Naval's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Hancock, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Rickover Naval does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hancock, they will challenge Proviso West at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
