Baseball Recap: Thunderridge Beats Ironwood Ridge for Their Third Straight Win

ThunderRidge lost to Ironwood Ridge back in March of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Grizzlies came out on top against the Nighthawks by a score of 8-5. The win was familiar territory for the Grizzlies, who have now won three contests in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ryder Nalick, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Santomo, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

ThunderRidge's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ironwood Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1.

ThunderRidge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Tucson High Magnet School on the 18th. As for Ironwood Ridge, they have also already played their next matchup, a 17-13 loss against Kuna on the 17th.
