Baseball Game Preview: Glenn Eagles vs. Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves

The Glenn Eagles will square off against the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Glenn is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Valley Christian on Tuesday. They came up short against the Defenders, falling 11-1. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Glenn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raymond Acosta, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Acosta has posted since back in April of 2024. Sebastian Sanchez also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Wiseburn- Da Vinci's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 7-1 to South.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
