Basketball Game Preview: Northside Panthers vs. Yates Lions

Northside hasn't had much luck against Yates recently, but that could start to change on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Northside Panthers duke it out with the Yates Lions at 7:15 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Northside earned a 36-26 victory over North Forest. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Yates entered their tilt with Worthing on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Colts by a score of 60-52.

Yates has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Northside, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
